Connect Mailgun to Triggerbee

Connect Mailgun to Triggerbee through Zapier and send what happens on your website on to Mailgun.

Triggerbee and Mailgun

Mailgun connects to Triggerbee through Zapier. When a visitor session happens on your website, Triggerbee starts a Zap and passes along the visitor’s properties and anything they entered in a Triggerbee form. Zapier then acts in Mailgun.

What you can do

  • Send an email when a form is submitted

Use the form fields from a Triggerbee campaign to send an email through Mailgun: a confirmation, a code or an alert to your team.

  • Bring the website context along

The visitor’s session properties travel with the Zap, so Mailgun gets more than an email address.

  • Run the campaigns that start it all

Build sign-up forms, promotions, surveys and gamification in Triggerbee’s editor, and show them to the right visitors.

Set up Mailgun through Zapier

  1. Generate an API key in Triggerbee.
  2. In Zapier, create a Zap with Triggerbee as the trigger and connect it with the API key.
  3. Add a Mailgun action and map the visitor and form fields you want to send.
  4. Choose the Zap in Triggerbee where you want onsite activity to start it.

Questions

Can I target website campaigns with Mailgun data?

Not through Zapier. The connection runs one way: Triggerbee sends data to Mailgun, nothing comes back. If you need Mailgun data for targeting, talk to us about a custom integration.

What does Triggerbee send to Mailgun?

The visitor’s session properties and the fields from Triggerbee forms. You choose what to use in the Zap.
